Terms of Service

These Terms are provided for transparency about the rules of using our service. They are not legal advice. BitBootcamp should have qualified counsel review this document before relying on it.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and BitBootcamp, an online learning platform operated by Hudson Data ("BitBootcamp," "we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using our website, content, courses, labs, or communications (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

BitBootcamp provides online learning in AI, machine learning, and software topics, explainers, interactive in-browser labs, videos, and related materials. We offer:

Free tier: access to our five flagship courses in full, plus roughly the first 20% of other courses as previews, at no cost. What the free tier includes is offered at our sole discretion, and we may add, change, restrict, or remove free courses, labs, previews, or other free content at any time, without notice.
BitBootcamp Pro: a paid subscription that unlocks the full catalog and Pro features, billed monthly or annually.

Interactive labs run in your own browser; you are responsible for the device and internet connection you use. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time.

3. Accounts & security

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. You can sign in with email/password, a passwordless email code, or Google or GitHub sign-in. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may verify your email and require bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) at signup. You must be at least 14 years old (or older if your country sets a higher minimum age for online services) to use BitBootcamp. To purchase a paid subscription you must be at least 18 (the age of majority), or have a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms and is responsible for the subscription.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content beyond normal personal use.
Copy, share, resell, sublicense, or redistribute paid content, or resell or share access to your account.
Bypass or attempt to bypass paywalls, rate limits, security, or bot protection.
Abuse the referral program, for example, creating fake or multiple accounts, self-referring, or trading codes for value. Referral benefits are one per person.
Create accounts by automated means, or operate bots against the Service.
Reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service, or use it unlawfully or to infringe others' rights.

We may remove content, and suspend or terminate access, for violations.

5. Subscriptions, billing & auto-renewal

BitBootcamp Pro is a recurring subscription billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, Stripe, using Stripe-hosted Checkout. Pricing is shown at checkout and varies by region, for example, USD for the United States and INR for India. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan and region, and your payment method is charged, until you cancel. We do not see or store your card number; Stripe handles all card data. Prices may change on renewal, and we will give notice before a change takes effect. You authorize us and Stripe to charge applicable fees and taxes.

6. Cancellation & refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of the current paid period and does not renew after that. We offer a 14-day money-back guaranteeif BitBootcamp Pro isn’t right for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. After those 14 days, and except where a refund is required by applicable law (for example, certain statutory withdrawal or consumer-protection rights in the EU/UK or elsewhere), payments are non-refundable, and cancelling does not entitle you to a refund of the current period. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will look into it.

7. "Share the Love of Learning" referral program

Pro subscribers may gift one-month passes to others using single-use referral codes. Each code can be redeemed once, and referral benefits are limited to one per person. When an invitee you referred becomes a paid subscriber, you may earn a free month as a reward. We may set and adjust quotas and limits, and we may withhold, revoke, or reverse referral benefits and codes if we detect fraud, abuse, or a breach of these Terms. Referral codes, passes, and rewards are promotional, have no cash value, are non-transferable except as intended by the program, and may be changed or ended at any time.

8. Intellectual property

The Service and its content (excluding your content) are owned by BitBootcamp, Hudson Data, or their licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the content for your own learning only. You may not redistribute, publish, resell, or create derivative products from our content. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Your content

You retain ownership of code and work you create in the labs. By submitting feedback, suggestions, or content to us, you grant BitBootcamp a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for content you submit and represent that you have the right to submit it.

10. Certificates

We may issue completion certificates to Pro subscribers who finish eligible courses. Certificates represent completion of BitBootcamp coursework only. They are not a degree, license, or accredited qualification, and do not guarantee any particular skill level, credential, or employment outcome.

11. Disclaimers

The Service and all educational content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that content is complete or accurate, or that using BitBootcamp will lead to any job, salary, certification, or other outcome.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BitBootcamp and Hudson Data will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BitBootcamp and Hudson Data harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service, other users, or our rights. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (for example, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and BitBootcamp agree that the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York will have exclusive jurisdiction and venue over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice (for example, by email or an in-product notice). Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
